Jensen & Danneel Are Engaged!
Jensen Ackles and his longtime girlfriend Danneel Harris are engaged, her rep confirms exclusively to JustJared.com. The 31-year-old Supernatural actor and 30-year-old One Tree Hill actress have been dating for about three years but have been friends for nearly a decade. The couple, who are longtime members of the WB/CW family, co-starred in the 2007 romantic comedy Ten Inch Hero. Danneel showed off her beautiful engagement ring on Saturday at the Breeders’ Cup in Los Angeles. Congrats to the happy couple! sourceCongrats to them both! |

Who voted for Laura Roslin?
Hello Ladies
Rewatch #2 and we are looking at episode 3, Bastille Day. So insert the DVD, hit play and then come back during the week to storm the thread with your Laura centric discussion, including or ignoring any of the points below.
1. The fleet is experiencing a dire water crisis and needs 1000 able bodied men workers to mine the ice for water stores. There are 1500 prisoners sentenced to hard labor confined on the Astral Queen. Shouldn't they have been ordered to mine the ice?
2. We learn a lot about Zarek. Raised on Sagittoran, one of the poorest colonies, he tired of the exploitation. Was involved in the bombing of a government building and sentenced to 20 yrs jail. President Adar offered him a full pardon if he'd apologise and give up violence as a means of political change but he refused. I love his line "its always better when the oppressed, don't fight back, isn't it?" Do you see Zarek as a man of principle, a freedom fighter, or a terrorist? Or simply an attention whore?
3. If the water crisis had occurred later in the series, say series 4, do you think Bill, Laura and Lee would have made the same decisions?
4. Why did Laura decide to confide in Lee about her cancer? Why didn't she also tell Adama?
5. Come on, its a safe environment here. You totally shipped Lleyland and Roslin, didn't you?
6. Do you think Laura had seriously thought about the legitimacy of her position prior to Zarek's demands? Both she and Adama seemed shocked by the thought of elections. Was it fair for Zarek to question her position? They had only just escaped constant attack from the cylons and found themselves in a serious resource crisis. Does democracy have a role during a state of emergency?
7. Favourite Laura scene. How cute was Roslin teasing Billy about nominating Dualla to go down to the Astral Queen? How hot was pissy Laura on the phone to Bill after Zarek's radio transmission? And while we are squeeing over the devine Miss R, she was totally reading Bills book at the end there. Y/y? |
